Hi, I’m Jess! The creator of Pei and Threads

My husband and I fell in love with the Shar-Pei breed a few years ago. The wrinkles, stubbornness, and the unconditional love are just a few of the many things we love about them! Nova and Kuiper are our two Peibies. They are the perfect duo and we couldn’t imagine our lives without them!

When COVID-19 struck, I ended up losing my full-time job. I’ve come to see this as a blessing in disguise because it gave me the opportunity to create this small business. I’ve always wanted to hand make something for my pups so during quarantine I bought a sewing machine, taught myself to sew, and quickly discovered a new passion. What started as a fun hobby for me to do during quarantine, has now become my full-time job and career path. I can’t imagine doing anything else!

I love fashion so it brings me immense joy to style my pups. I have to admit: they do have their own little wardrobe… Through the wonderful social media dog community, I noticed there weren’t any pet apparel shops that showcased our beautiful breed…This is why I created Pei and Threads — to give our unique breed a platform to not only showcase their beauty, but also bring you some joy as you style your pup with the trendiest apparel. Although this brand is created with Shar-Pei in mind, we welcome all breeds here as each one is unique and have their own remarkable characteristics.

Pei and Threads is not like any other shop. We pride ourselves in unparalleled attention-to-detail while ensuring our products are of the highest quality. I believe in doing all things with love and excellence.
