Join us to Do Good In The Hood in conjunction with Mrs Roper fans benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at the Ivanhoe Brewery in the Ivanhoe Village of Orlando, near downtown. We will be donating a portion of our sales to the The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

There will be food, drinks, music, artists, raffles and calling on the Big Red Bus donors!

Join in the fun on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the Garden’s Dog Day. Bring the whole family, including your lovable canine, for a stroll through the 50-acre gardens. Each dog will receive a special goody bag with their very own Harry P. Leu Garden’s bandana, while supplies last.

The Doggie Boutique will be open from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. for shopping and information from local pet businesses, including hugging some adorable therapy dogs.

Show off your pooch and enter them in one or all of the doggie contests: Best Dressed, Most Talented, and Best Kisser. Winners  and runners up will receive a cute pooch prize of toys and goodies. Registrations opens at 9:00 a.m. and contest times are as followed:
Best Dressed 10:00 a.m.
Most Talented 10:30 a.m.
Best Kisser 11:00 a.m.

Spanning stretches of Orange Avenue and Virginia Drive, as well as Gaston Edwards Park, families and adults alike find no shortage of yuletide festivities. From beer gardens to music, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, a children’s holiday village, and special event promotions by Ivanhoe Village retailers, restaurants, and bars, the evening culminates with fireworks displayed high above the shores of Lake Ivanhoe. Jingle Eve is free and open to the public, with the exception of a premium “12 Wines of Christmas” walk.

In the Children’s Holiday Village, we have a craft tables, bounce houses and a Bubble Bus.

From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., a range of fun activities, included with admission, have been planned for you and your dog. Contests start at 10:00 a.m. so come early to register.

Several community organizations will be participating on this exciting first-ever Dog Day at the Gardens.
